Homecoming events are under way today! Students who have turned in permission slips will have access to the bounce houses in the gym (PreK through 6th at different intervals in the morning, and 7th through 12th later in the afternoon).

As school ends at 3:30, setup will begin for the evening homecoming activities. Please remember we will not be able to have After Care today as we will be using all hands on deck to prepare for the events!

At 6:00 students return for the promenade at 6:30 in the auditorium at FBC. Everyone is welcome to attend this event as we recognize our homecoming royalty! Around 7:30, high school students, their guests, and teachers who have purchased tickets will be taken over to OVB On the Square Rooftop for dinner and photo opportunities around the Gallipolis City Park! At 9:30, those students will be brought back to the OVCS Gymnasium to start an evening of "Subsequent Shenanigans!" An evening full of fun activity and interaction! Students in grades 7-12 are invited for this event, which lasts until 12:00 AM (midnight)! At that time, students in grades 7 and 8 must be picked up, as well as any guests of high schoolers. OVC High school students will remain in the gym for a "lock-in" with OVCS staff guiding the early hours of the morning with a variety of fun homecoming activities! At 5:00, breakfast will be served, and at 6:00, the lock-in will conclude, bringing a close to the 2023 OVCS Homecoming event. All students, whether licensed to drive or not, must have a ride at 6:00AM to be taken home.
