Spiritual emphasis week and standardized testing!

The school will be embarking on Standardized Tests (K-11) on Monday morning. These tests will begin at 8:30 and will go until about 10:30 each day, Monday through Friday. PLEASE be sure that your child is at school for these dates. Only illness should prevent students from being in this week!

After testing, students will have spiritual emphasis meetings with the Coffey Ministries team, visiting First Baptist Church this week! High School students will interact Monday through Thursday, and elementary students will get time with the team on Monday and Tuesday!

For High School, after a big morning of testing, students will be grouped into teams and will be playing for the OVCS Cup through a series of challenges on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Friday, students in grades 7-11 will be going out into the community to serve and show our great community that we care and love them! Several organizations have asked us to lend them a hand, and it is our blessing to be able to work with them!

Because of the different focus this week, all students may wear sweatpants/athletic pants to school on these dates. Please do not send children to school in shorts or leggings.

For the Elementary School, while each grade will have its own schedule of events happening this week, we will be conducting our annual Field Day for students on Thursday after testing concludes. Additionally, a couple of the elementary grades are completing their servathon activities at the end of this week.

This is going to be an incredibly busy week for our students and staff! But we're excited about it and expect to have a great time together!

ALL Families are welcome to join at First Baptist for the Coffey meetings, starting at 7PM (6:30 for youth), Monday through Thursday. Dinner will begin to be served at 5:30. Come as you are and be blessed by the ministry of this incredible team!
