Summer Musings

To Our OVCS Friends and Family,

With this blog post, we are re-introducing our webpage as a central gathering place for online news, announcements, and other information concerning Ohio Valley Christian School. For the past few years, we have used the school’s Facebook page as our primary means to publish information. But we have many families who choose not to participate in social media or who do not wish to join Facebook. We whole-heartedly understand those sensibilities and want to provide a means to communicate with all our families. You may find our webpage at

By the beginning of the school year, the calendar of events will be fully up-to-date. Our athletic schedules will be published. Students will be recognized for their achievements. We hope to embed videos of activities so that our families as well as those looking for more information about the school might have a window into the life of our school community.

We have endured a TOUGH stretch of months together as we weathered the difficulty caused by a global pandemic. Thank you so much for your support and the tremendous effort you expended in maintaining a safe, secure school for our students to gather each day. We are awaiting new guidance from the Ohio Department of Education as to how the upcoming year will look with respect to health and safety protocols. It is our fervent hope that we will return to as much pre-COVID normalcy as possible for the upcoming year. We are looking forward to a great 2021-2022 school year together!

May the Lord bless you and keep you;

May the Lord make His face shine upon you,

And be gracious to you;

May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you peace.
